Black Bean Soup

1 large onion cut up fine
14 cup crispy fried bacon
1 large can of black beans
12 cup rice or pot barley
1 large tblsp chili powder
8 large tomatoes
3 cloves of garlic
2 or 3 chicken cubes
Red pepper to taste

Saute onions & garlic in olive oil, add tomatoes, chili powder & chicken cubes dissolved in 1 cup water- simmer 12 hr. Add bacon, rice or barely, red pepper & beans-simmer 1 12 hrs. Add 2 tblsp vinegar shortly before serving.
