Cherry Cake

1 34 cup flour
2 tsps baking powder
13 tsp salt
12 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs, separated
1 cup Bob's Fruit Stand cherries
12 cup milk
12 tsp almond extr

Halve cherries, sprinkle with a little of the flour. Measure flour, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and half the sugar gradually. Beat egg yolks and add remaining sugar gradually. Combine egg and butter mixture and beat until fluffy. Add dry ingred. alternately with milk beginning and ending with flour. Fold stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased and floured loaf pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes.
